Host an Event
One-day catalytic gatherings designed to expand your reach in your community, build connection, and introduce people to your church.
Table for One Ministries partners with churches nationwide to host Singles Conferences, Singles Retreats, and Young Adult Conferences. These gatherings serve single adults of all ages and backgrounds and create a welcoming on-ramp for people who may not yet be connected to a church community—while giving your current singles and young adults a meaningful place to bring a friend.
- Why host an Event? -
- Reach new people in your community through an inviting, low-pressure first step.
- Create connection fast—single adults often stay where they feel known and welcomed.
- Build momentum for discipleship by forming new small groups after the event.
- Strengthen or relaunch an existing singles group with a clear next step and structure.
- Increase long-term engagement as attendees plug into groups and (often) church life.
We regularly see 25%–40% of conference attendees join a small group for the first time after the event.
- What your church gets -
- Catalytic Singles Conference / Church-Wide Event: A one-day experience built to help your church connect with single adults and spark ongoing community.
- One-Year Singles Ministry Plan: A practical roadmap that helps you move from “we hosted an event” to “we’re building sustainable discipleship and community.”
- Volunteer + Staff Training:
Training that equips your team to welcome singles well, lead groups confidently, and create clear next steps after the conference.
- The built-in next step: Embrace the Table -
After the conference, many churches launch new small groups (or strengthen existing ones) using our
Embrace the Table 6-session curriculum. It’s leader-friendly and designed to help groups start quickly with a clear weekly format, discussion questions, and Scripture-based teaching points.
It's not just a one-day event. It’s a church-wide outreach moment that can lead to ongoing discipleship and lasting community.
